Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life
Ephesians 6:13 "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm"
As we live in these dark days it is important to remember that we are not defenseless. We have been given the armor of God to fight the good fight and stand firm in the Faith. Our battle is not with flesh and blood but with principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and against the spiritual wickedness in the heavenly places. The only way to fight a spiritual battle is with the Spiritual armor which the Lord has so graciously provided us. Let us put on the Belt of Truth and make sure that everything in our life is held together by the Truth of God's Word. Let us put on the Breastplate of Righteousness and let our hearts and choices be guarded by and aligned with His Righteousness. Let us cover our feet in the Gospel of Peace letting us walk in the good news of our Salvation. As we take up the Shield of Faith may our faith increase and defend us against the lies of the enemy that we may know that the Word of God is the final authority. As we put on the Helmet of Salvation may our every thought be guarded by the Truth of our Salvation through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. And finally let us take hold of the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, let our hearts and minds be filled with God's Word so that when the enemy attacks we will know the Truth of His Word and stand firm believing it above all that we see or hear and as we resist the devil through the power of His Word, he will flee.
